BBS can be utilized for event broadcasting/emergency broadcasting capabilities. Call lists are simply downloaded over a web site and the members on the list are notified via their telephone to an event or emergency. A log keeps track of people who listened to the message, people who chose to decline the message, the number of calls that went to voicemail, incorrect numbers, and no answers. Specific information may be obtained through customized features.
